Parish NursingThe Parish Nurse ministry objectives are to encourage and support the people of our congregation to optimize their health as an acknowledgment of Christian responsibility to be stewards of one’s being. The ministry emphasizes holistic wellness, the harmony of mind, body, and spirit. The Parish Nurse serves as an educator, a resource, an advocate, a consultant, and a facilitator.
DBSA: HOPE Group, Depresion/Bi Polar Support Group: Our "HOPE" Group is a faith based support group for family, friends, and those who suffer with depression or bipolar disorders. Grief Recovery Support Group - "A Journey From Mourning to Joy". If you have lost someone close to you, please consider joining our 13 week grief support group that helps those who are hurting.

· Monitoring of post-hospitalization recovery · Visitation offering presence & prayers during times of distress · Blood Pressure screenings · Accompaniment to a doctor’s office visit · Identity of possible Health Care Providers · Assist with decisions regarding insurance options · Referrals to other care resources · Promotion of formal programs related to safety and/or health · Clarifying doctor’s instructions or lab test results · Encouraging healthy living through monthly articles and bulletin board displays |
